The Anduze Prestige Planter in Blue Lagoon
The beauty of this historical planter traces its roots back to the 1600s. Gautier, an 18th century craftsman often accredited with the creation of the Anduze planter, often included lilies, horns of abundance and a centered cherub on his highly decorative and voluminous garlands. Since then, the Anduze planter has been a striking feature in prominent French landmarks, such as the gardens of Versailles, and the cities of Montpellier and Nice Côte d’Azur.
Finished in a gorgeous Blue Lagoon glaze, the opulent Anduze Prestige planter is characterized by garlands crafted in accordance with Gautier’s distinctive Mark, as well as three rows of handmade clay threads running across its body. A lily is set in the hollow of each garland, paying homage to Gautier’s distinctive craftsmanship.
