About Le Chêne Vert
Legend describes a fair in 1610 where an Anduze potter, captivated by the elegance of a Medici vase, created the Anduze planter, the penultimate ornament of the classic French garden.
Drawing inspiration from ancient French gardens and glazed terracotta craftsmanship, the Le Chêne Vert workshop crafts bespoke vessels unrivalled for their authentic, unsurpassed quality. The Anduze-based workshop is one of the last of its kind.
Famously known by its Antica patina, Le Chêne Vert planters are featured in the exquisite gardens of Versailles, the cities of Montpellier and Nice Côte d'Azur, and countless aristocratic residences worldwide.
Take a look behind the scenes at the detailed artistry involved in handcrafting these stately vessels.
